.bieye: the new frontier of sunglasses signed by .bijouets

After the great success of “Cambiami”, .bijouets decided to expand its eyewear proposal by entrusting the development of a new line of sunglasses to the designer Filippo Mambretti, who has been collaborating with the brand for jewellery collections for many years.

The new eyewear collection, .bieye, will have the characteristics that have always distinguished the .bijouets products: modernity, lightness, innovation and cosmopolitanism and it will be realized entirely in Italy with an additive process that transforms a digital file directly into a solid object.

The lenses will be in CR39 supplied by Carl Zeiss to guarantee a high quality level of the products.

This collection, which will be presented at Mido 24-26 February 2018, is the result of years of constant research, focused on trends and details that make the products extraordinary interpreters of the revolution taking place in recent years, combining tradition, skills and know how with high technology, design and avant-garde that characterize the present and future evolution.

The new eyewear collection designed by Filippo Mambretti combines modernity and innovation of technology with the extraordinary artisan skills: all the glasses, made of sintered polyamide, will be finished and colored by hand, thus becoming real pieces unique.

The new proposal is characterized by the wide range of different styles and designs thanks to the great flexibility of additive manufacturing and to the creative freedom that characterizes the production technology. Among the new models presented there will be “Geo”, sunglasses with round lenses designed to blend the technical detail with the minimal aesthetic frill; “Wave”, available in two sizes and in two different versions, with round lenses characterized by the particular design of the arms, enriched aesthetically by a composition of lines and tops; “Maverick”, model with teardrop lenses inspired by the ’70s and’ 80s; “Pin”, with rectangular lenses and carré frame, which is divided into “Pinstripe”, “Pinzebra” and “Pinleo”, characterized by different textures that define the external appearance of the frame, embellishing the final perception of the product, through games of lights and shadows.

The innovative design, the originality and the uniqueness of the shapes of this new collection of sunglasses, make .bijouets a prêt-à-porter brand that revolutionizes the eyewear world.
